Love in Action
1 John 3:18
“Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.”
One day, Rina saw her friend sitting alone in the classroom. Her friend looked sad because she had forgotten to bring her lunch. Rina was very hungry too, but she remembered that God wants us to show love through our actions. So, she decided to share her food with her friend. Her friend smiled happily and felt much better.
Rehobot Kids, love is not only about saying, “I love Mom and Dad.” Love is also shown through the good things we do. Being sincere means helping others not because we want praise or rewards, but because we truly want to do what is right in God’s eyes. We can show love in simple ways every day—helping our parents at home, sharing our school supplies, comforting a sad friend, or saying sorry when we make a mistake.
Sometimes we may feel lazy or want things our own way. But when we stay close to God, the Holy Spirit helps us become loving, patient, and kind. These are the fruits that God grows in our hearts day by day.
Through our small acts of kindness, other people can experience God’s love. So, Rehobot Kids, let’s make it our goal to do good every day. May our words, attitudes, and actions become a blessing to our family, teachers, and friends!
