Today’s Devotional Title:
Words That Bear Fruit
Proverbs 12:14
“From the fruit of their lips people are filled with good things, and the work of their hands brings them reward.”
Rehobot Kids, have you ever felt happy because a friend said something kind to you? Kind words can make someone feel encouraged, strong, and joyful. But harsh or hurtful words can make others feel sad. God wants His children to produce good fruit through their words, attitudes, and actions every day.
When we stay close to God, the Holy Spirit helps our hearts. He teaches us to speak gently, honestly, and respectfully. For example, when a friend makes a mistake, we do not make fun of them. Instead, we help and encourage them. That is a sign that the Fruit of the Spirit is growing in our lives.
The Fruit of the Spirit—such as love, patience, and self-control—can be seen in the way we speak. When we feel angry, we learn to control our words. When a friend is sad, we offer encouragement. Kind words can become a blessing and bring joy to many people.
So, Rehobot Kids, let’s learn to use our mouths to speak good things. May every word we say please God and strengthen others. Be a light and a blessing wherever you go by sharing God’s love through words filled with kindness and grace!
