Don’t Give Up, God Is With You!
James 1:4
“Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”
One day, Nina was given an assignment to give a presentation in front of her class. The night before, she felt scared and nervous. She worried that she might make mistakes and that her classmates would laugh at her. Nina even thought about pretending to be sick so she would not have to stand in front of the class.
But her mother gave her a hug and invited her to pray. Mom reminded Nina that God was always with her and would help her. After praying, Nina began practicing at home little by little. Even though she was still nervous, she chose to keep trying and trust God.
The next day, Nina bravely stood in front of the class. At first, her voice was very quiet because she was still afraid. But little by little, she became more confident and was able to finish her presentation well. Through that experience, Nina learned that perseverance does not mean never feeling afraid. It means continuing to trust God and not giving up even when we feel nervous.
Rehobot Kids, our lives are like a small plant that keeps growing. When a plant is watered and cared for every day, it eventually produces beautiful fruit. In the same way, when we keep praying, trusting God, and doing our best, God helps us grow into children who are brave, patient, and full of faith.
So, Rehobot Kids, don’t give up when you feel afraid or worried. Keep trusting that God is always with you. He will give you strength, help you each day, and teach you to keep moving forward!
