Today’s Devotional Title:
God Is With Rafi
Joshua 1:9
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
That morning, Rafi stood at the gate of his new school. He didn’t know anyone. Everything felt strange, and his heart was beating fast. “What if I don’t have any friends?” he thought. Rafi almost wanted to go home.
But then he remembered what his older sibling said, “God is with you wherever you go. You are not alone.” Rafi took a deep breath and prayed, “God, please help me to be brave.”
With small steps, Rafi walked into the school. He still felt nervous, but he tried to smile and greet the student next to him. “My name is Rafi,” he said softly. The boy smiled and replied, “I’m Bima.” That day wasn’t perfect right away, but Rafi no longer felt alone.
Rehobot Kids, being brave doesn’t mean we are never afraid. Being brave means we keep going even when we feel afraid, because we know God is with us.
God is our source of strength. When we rely on Him, He gives us courage to face new things and strength to go through every challenge.
So don’t be afraid to take a step forward, Rehobot Kids. Remember, God is always with you wherever you go. With God, you are never alone.
