Today’s devotional is titled:
The Leader of the Forest
Proverbs 11:14
“Where there is no guidance, a nation falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety.”
In a forest, a lion ruled wisely as the king of the animals. All the animals lived peacefully under his leadership. But one day the lion became sick and could no longer lead. Because of that, the tiger, the crocodile, and the wolf all fought to become the leader. The forest that used to be peaceful became chaotic, and many animals even left the forest.
After some time, the lion finally recovered. He asked the wise owl for advice. With the help of his friends, the lion called back the animals who had left. In the end, the tiger, the crocodile, and the wolf made peace and once again lived in harmony under the lion’s leadership.
Rehobot Kids, this story teaches us that life needs good leaders. At home, God gives us parents to lead us. At school, God gives us teachers who guide us to learn and grow.
So let’s learn to obey our parents and teachers. They guide us so we can become good children and live according to God’s will.
