Today’s Devotional Title:
New Strength from God
Isaiah 40:31
“But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.”
Rehobot Kids, have you ever felt very tired after playing, or felt discouraged because schoolwork feels hard? Sometimes our bodies get tired, and sometimes our hearts feel tired too and want to give up.
Imagine SpongeBob working at the Krusty Krab. One day it’s super busy! He has to run back and forth serving customers. After a while, SpongeBob gets very tired—he’s sweating, and his energy is almost gone. But SpongeBob doesn’t give up. He stops for a moment, takes a deep breath, and then gets back up with new energy.
Today’s Bible verse teaches us that those who put their hope in God will receive new strength. When we feel tired or sad, God does not leave us alone. God gives us encouragement, hope, and strength so we can keep going—just like an eagle that flies high with strong wings.
So, Rehobot Kids, if today you feel tired or like giving up, come to God. Pray and say, “God, please give me new strength.” Trust that with God, you can rise again with fresh energy and a strong, happy heart!
