Today’s devotional title:
Dito’s Short Colored Pencils

John 6:9
“Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?”

Dito loves drawing. One day, the art teacher asked everyone to make a poster with the theme “Sharing Is Beautiful.” The problem was, Dito’s colored pencils were almost used up—his red pencil was very short, and his blue one was already dull. At first, Dito wanted to keep the pencils just for himself.

But then Dito noticed Raka, his desk mate, looking confused because he had forgotten to bring his colored pencils. Dito thought, “If I don’t share, Raka won’t be able to draw at all.” Finally, with a sincere heart, Dito lent his pencils to Raka. They drew together and took turns using the few pencils that were left.

In the end, their poster became one of the best in the class. The teacher said it was beautiful not only because of the drawing, but also because of the story behind it. Dito learned that God can use small things when we are willing to share with an open heart.

Rehobot Kids, God doesn’t look at how much we have, but at how sincere our hearts are when we give. Just like the five loaves and two fish, small things in God’s hands can become great blessings. So don’t be afraid to share what you have—through small acts of kindness, God works in amazing ways!
