Today’s devotional title:
Small Kindness That Matters
Proverbs 3:27
“Do not withhold good from those who deserve it, when it is in your power to act.”
Rehobot Kids, have you ever seen a friend who looked like they were struggling, but didn’t dare to ask for help? Maybe they were confused about their homework, sitting alone during recess, or looking sad. Sometimes people don’t ask for help because they feel shy or don’t want to bother others.
God’s Word teaches us not to hold back kindness when we are able to help. That means when we can help someone, God wants us to act right away with a sincere heart—without waiting to be asked.
Helping doesn’t have to be something big. Small acts of kindness can mean a lot, like lending a pencil, helping explain a lesson, sitting with a friend who’s alone, or simply asking, “Are you okay?” Simple things like these can make someone feel stronger and cared for.
God uses our small acts of kindness to show His love. When we do good, we become God’s tools to bring comfort and joy to others.
So let’s learn to be sensitive and brave in doing good every day, Rehobot Kids. Don’t delay kindness, because the small kindness you do today can mean something very big to someone else.
