Today’s devotional title:
Sharing with a Thankful Heart

Hebrews 13:16
“Don’t forget to do good and to share with others, because these are the kinds of sacrifices that please God.”

Rehobot Kids, did you know, that everything we have is a gift from God? Our toys, food, clothes, and even our loving families—all of them are blessings from God. One simple way to show our thankfulness to God is by sharing.

Sharing doesn’t mean we have to wait until we have a lot. We can share small things, like sharing a snack with a friend, lending crayons, or sitting with a friend who is waiting alone to be picked up. When we choose to share, God sees our thankful hearts. A thankful heart doesn’t feel like it’s lacking—it’s happy to give with joy.

Imagine you have some candy. If you eat it all by yourself, you’ll be happy for a moment. But if you share it with a friend, both of you can smile and talk together. Giving makes our hearts softer and happier, because sharing is fun!

God’s Word in Hebrews 13:16 reminds us not to forget to do good and to share, because that’s what makes God happy. So let’s learn to be kids who love to share with sincere hearts. When we give with thankfulness, we don’t just make others happy—we also make God smile. And God’s love becomes real through our lives every day.
