Today’s devotion title:
New Strength Every Day
Isaiah 40:31
“But those who wait for the Lord will get new strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not grow weary.”
That morning, Nara woke up feeling lazy and super tired. Yesterday’s basketball practice made her body sore, and she felt like she couldn’t handle school that day. “I’m so exhausted… I feel like giving up,” she thought sadly.
At breakfast, her dad said gently, “Nara, God gives new strength every day. You’re not walking alone.” His words reminded Nara of the verse about God giving strength like an eagle flying high. Her heart started to feel calmer.
Rehobot Kids, today’s verse reminds us that when our bodies, minds, or hearts feel tired, God doesn’t just stay silent. Instead, when we come to Him and trust Him, He gives us fresh strength. Like an eagle that can fly strong even through hard winds, God gives us courage so we don’t give up easily.
That’s why we don’t only thank God when we’re happy, but also when we feel weak. When we say, “Thank You, God, You are with me,” our hearts become more peaceful. God is always there to help us and give us bravery at the right time.
So if you ever feel like giving up, stop for a moment and pray, “God, please give me new strength.” Believe it—God will strengthen you again. Rehobot Kids, every day God gives new strength, and that’s a big reason to always be thankful!
