Today’s devotion title:
Being Thankful When We Worship
Psalm 100:2
“Worship the Lord with joy; come before Him with happy shouts!”
Hi, Rehobot Kids! Who here gets excited when Sunday comes? When we go to church, sing together, clap our hands, and pray as a group—that’s not just a normal activity. It’s a special time to meet God!
Worship is like a joy party—not a party with cake or gifts, but a party to praise God. When we sing and pray, our hearts get filled with peace and happiness. Why? Because God is right there in the praises of His children. Imagine God smiling when He sees you singing and praising Him with all your heart!
Sometimes we wake up feeling sleepy, or it’s raining, or we just want to stay in bed. But remember, being able to worship is a gift from God. Lots of people out there can’t worship freely like we can. That’s why we should be thankful every time we get to go to church.
So from now on, let’s come to worship with joyful and thankful hearts. Praise God loudly, listen carefully to His Word, and pray with a sincere heart.
Because every time we worship, it’s a chance to say, “Thank You, God! I’m grateful I get to worship You!”
