24/7 with God
Psalm 55:17
“Evening, morning and noon I cry out in distress, and He hears my voice.”
That morning, Sister Sita saw Anto and Andy arguing. Anto said that praying is enough to be done in the morning and at night. However, Andy argued that we can pray anytime. Sister Sita then explained that prayer is when we talk to God. Therefore, we are not limited by time or place to pray. We can talk to God at home, at school, at tutoring places, while playing, or wherever we are.
Rehobot Kids, prayer is not just a habit done before meals or before bed. Prayer is a way for us to build a close relationship with God. We can give thanks, seek wisdom, share our feelings, or ask for help from Him at any time. God is pleased when His children come and speak to Him with a sincere heart.
The relationship with God needs to be maintained every day. Just as we enjoy chatting with friends or family, God also longs for us to always be close to Him. Don’t wait until you face difficulties to pray. Get used to involving God in every activity so that our hearts become more sensitive to His guidance.
Come on, Rehobot Kids, stay connected with God 24/7. Come to Him at all times, no matter your circumstances. The more often we talk to God, the closer our relationship with Him becomes, and the more we learn to live according to His will.
