Your Personality, God’s Design
Psalm 139:14
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
Rehobot Youth, have you ever felt like your personality isn’t “enough”? Too quiet, too sensitive, too different from others. We often feel like we have to be like everyone else to be accepted. But your personality isn’t a mistake—it’s God’s design.
God didn’t create you randomly. The way you think, respond, and interact is all part of His plan. The quiet can be a deep listener. The expressive can be a bringer of joy. The sensitive can be sensitive to others.
The problem isn’t our personality, but how we use it. If we constantly compare ourselves, we’ll feel inadequate. But if we realize that our personality is God’s work, we begin to see that we are unique—and that uniqueness can be used to glorify Him.
God doesn’t ask you to be someone else. He wants you to be the best version of yourself—led by Him. Because when your personality is used by God, that’s when His work is truly seen.
What To Do?
• Accept your personality as part of God’s design.
• Develop your uniqueness for constructive purposes.
• Ask God to use your life according to who you are.
