Today’s Devotional Title:
Your Life Is No Longer the Old Version

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”
— 2 Corinthians 5:17

Many young people feel trapped by their past—whether it’s because of major mistakes, academic failures, or old wounds that haven’t fully healed. Those things can make us feel “broken” and unworthy of moving forward. The world is quick to label us based on what we’ve done before. But God works in a completely different way. He doesn’t define us by our past; He looks at what He is doing—and will continue to do—in our lives.

God doesn’t just fix or patch up our old life. He does a total reset. In Christ, you are given a completely new identity. Your status is no longer “the failure” or “the problem kid,” but a child of God. Being a new creation is like deleting an old file full of viruses and replacing it with a brand-new operating system—clean, fresh, and ready to be used for a greater purpose.

Christ paid a high price so you could have a new beginning. Your life is now a blank canvas that God is ready to fill with His extraordinary work. You are not meant to replay your old story, but to live out a new one together with God.

What to Do?
1. Stop judging yourself—if God has forgiven your past, don’t keep living in it.
2. Leave old footprints behind—choose environments and communities that help you grow in faith.
3. Build a new life vision—practice one godly character trait as real evidence that God is transforming your life.
