Willing to Help

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” – Galatians 6:2

Dita, Anty, and Santy had been close friends since first grade, and now they were already in sixth grade. They attended the same school and often went home together after class.

But lately, Dita and Santy were worried because Anty hadn’t been coming to school for several days. They tried to contact her, but there was no reply. Curious and concerned, they decided to visit Anty’s house after school.

When they arrived, they called out Anty’s name, but she wasn’t home. Instead, they met Anty’s mother, who looked very sick. She explained that Anty had gone out to buy medicine. A little while later, Anty returned, and the friends finally met.

Anty explained that her mother had been sick, and she had to stay home to take care of her. She also shared that they didn’t have enough money to take her mother to the doctor. Hearing this, Dita and Santy began thinking of ways to help. Soon, they decided to raise some money to support Anty’s family. Thanks to their care and effort, Anty’s mother was able to get treatment from the doctor and recover.

All of this happened because Anty had friends with hearts that were willing to help.

Truth Juniors, we are also called to be God’s helping hands for those around us. Our God is love, and as His children, we must live out that love by helping and caring for others.

So, Truth Juniors, let’s be willing to help one another, just as Christ has taught us!
