Who Am I, Really?

Hello Gen Z people! This daily devotional can be accessed through our Instagram at www.instagram.com/z_votion.id. Don’t forget to follow us!

Today’s Devotional is titled:
Who Am I, Really?

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” – (Psalm 139:13–14)

Have you ever felt like you’re “not enough”? Not cool enough, not smart enough, not attractive enough, not productive enough, not as successful as others on Instagram? In today’s digital age, we often compare ourselves with other people’s highlights. But what you see on social media is just a curated slice — not the full reality.

But God doesn’t see us through filters or likes. God sees who we truly are. In Psalm 139, David realizes that he is personally and fully known by God — even before he was born. You weren’t created randomly. You were designed with purpose.

Gen Z is a generation that craves meaning, but unfortunately often seeks validation externally. Today, you are invited to discover who you truly are before God, not in the eyes of the world.

What to Do?
1. Do a short digital detox today and spend some time writing down 5 things you are grateful for about yourself.
2. Reread Psalm 139 and reflect on which part speaks to you the most personally.
