Today’s Devotional is titled:
When Courage Starts to Fade
“Be strong and courageous…” – Joshua 1:9
God knows we can be afraid. That’s why He doesn’t just say “do not fear,” but also gives the reason: “For I am with you.” Faith doesn’t mean you’re never afraid — faith means you keep moving forward even when you are.
Joshua might have felt unworthy to replace Moses. But God didn’t ask him to be like Moses — He only asked him to be obedient. It wasn’t personal strength that made Joshua succeed, but God’s presence that made him enough.
If you’re feeling small today, it’s not a sign of failure. It’s an invitation to lean deeper into God.
What to Do:
Say in faith: “Lord, I’m afraid… but I still want to obey.” Then take one step that God has already placed on your heart.
