What Can I Help With?
John 6:9
“Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?”
Truth Kids friends, in 2010 there was a ship accident at sea.
The ship was carrying oil, but it spilled into the ocean. The oil made the sea dirty. Many fish-eating birds were covered in oil and couldn’t fly anymore.
But there was a girl named Olivia. She felt sad seeing the suffering birds. Olivia started helping in a small way. She drew many pictures of birds and wrote letters to people, asking them to join in saving the birds.
People loved Olivia’s paintings. They bought them, and a lot of money was raised. More than 200,000 dollars were used to save the birds!
Many people called Olivia a little hero!
Truth Kids friends, let’s look around us.
Maybe there’s a dirty environment, or a friend who needs help.
Let’s start helping in small ways, just like Olivia.
