Used in Position
“And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?” — Esther 4:14b
Hi, Rehobot Youth! Have you ever felt like your current position or situation is just ordinary? Maybe you’re just a student at school, a small member of a community, or feel like you don’t stand out much. But don’t be mistaken—God can use a position that seems simple for a great purpose.
Esther was originally just an ordinary Jewish girl. Yet, God placed her in the position of Queen of Persia. When her people were under threat, Esther courageously stepped forward by fasting and approaching the king. God used Esther’s position to save many people. From Esther’s life, we learn that God can work through places and circumstances that humans might consider ordinary.
You also have a unique position today—as a student, a friend, a child, or a church member. It may seem small, but when you live with the right motivation and maintain a holy life, God can use your presence to bring a positive influence to others. The position you hold now can be a channel for God to reveal His love and goodness.
Rehobot Youth, knowing the living God means believing that God can use us wherever we are. You are made for more—called not just to live for yourself, but for God’s greater purpose.
What to Do?
• Be grateful for the position and opportunities God has entrusted to you today.
• Keep your life holy so that God can use your life to the fullest.
• Use your presence to bring a positive influence to those around you.
