Today’s devotional is titled:
Use Time Wisely
“Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.” – Ephesians 5:15–16
One afternoon, Rena was watching funny videos on her phone 📱.
One video… then another… and before she knew it, an hour had passed!
But Rena hadn’t swept her room, hadn’t read the Bible, and had forgotten to help her mom 🍽️.
Later that day, Rena joined her Sunday school class.
The teacher said,
“God gave us time as a gift.
Time can be used to study, to help others, or to do good things.
If we use our time only to play, we are not valuing God’s gift.”
Rena grew quiet. She realized how much time she had wasted that day 😔.
“I want to change,” Rena thought.
“I want to use my time to please God.”
Truth Kids 😊, let’s use our time wisely!
Study diligently, help your parents, and do good things every day.
Time used wisely makes God’s heart glad! 💖
