Turning Wounds into Art
Luke 2:35
so that the thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. And a sword will pierce your own soul too.
Rehobot Youth, wounds are unpleasant. Rejection, hurt, loss—all of them can break the heart. Sometimes we think, “Why me?” or “What’s the point of all this?”
Mary was there too. As a mother, she had to watch Jesus suffer on the cross. It was no ordinary wound—it was profound. But behind that wound, God was working something great: salvation for the world.
This means that Mary’s wounds were not in vain. They were part of God’s extraordinary work. Just like our lives. The wounds you experience may feel dark now, but in God’s hands, they can become part of something beautiful. God can use wounds to shape you—making you stronger, more sensitive, and more understanding of others.
Wounds don’t have to be the end of the story. They can be a process. They can even be God’s tool to reveal His work through your life.
So don’t close your heart because of wounds. Give them to God. Because He is an expert at transforming pain into something meaningful.
What To Do?
• Be honest with God about the wounds you feel.
• Trust that God is working behind the process.
• Use your experience to encourage others.
