Today’s Devotional Title:
Trusting God Completely

Genesis 12:1–2
The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.
I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.”

Truth Kids friends, have you ever had to move to a new house or a new school?
Maybe you felt a little scared or worried, right?
At the new place, you might not have friends yet, you might not know your way around, or you might not be familiar with the teachers. But, Truth Kids friends, if we believe that God is always with us, everything will be okay.

Something like this also happened to Abraham. One day, God said to him, “Leave your country and your family. Go to the land I will show you.” At that time, God promised to bless Abraham and make him the father of many nations, Truth Kids friends. Even though Abraham didn’t know where he was going or what the land would be like, he still believed.

Even though there were so many things unknown and uncertain, Abraham trusted and obeyed. He packed up all his belongings and journeyed with his family to a foreign land. He didn’t know what was waiting ahead, but he knew that God always keeps His promises.

Truth Kids friends, from Abraham’s story we learn to trust God even when we don’t see the results yet. When we keep obeying and holding on to God’s promises, He will surely guide and bless our lives—just as He did for Abraham.

Come on, let’s learn to trust God completely, just like Abraham did, Truth Kids friends!
