Trusted Because of Faithfulness

Titus 1:4–5
“To Titus, my true son in our common faith: Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior. The reason I left you in Crete was that you might put in order what was left unfinished and appoint elders in every town, as I directed you.”

Truth Junior Friends, have you ever been trusted to help your teacher or parents with something important? It feels good, doesn’t it? But it also comes with a big responsibility. Today, we’re learning from Paul’s friend named Titus.

Titus was a faithful companion of the Apostle Paul in ministry. Because of his loyalty and faithfulness, Paul trusted him with a very important mission—to lead and strengthen the church on the island of Crete. It wasn’t an easy job, because Paul wanted the believers there to live in order and stay strong in their faith. But Titus didn’t give up. He carried out his responsibility with a willing heart and love for God.

Truth Junior Friends, from Titus’s story we learn that people who are faithful and trustworthy can be used by God for great things. God looks at our hearts—not at how talented or smart we are. When we obey and do what’s right, God can use us to help and strengthen others, just like Titus did for the church in Crete.

So, let’s be like Titus—faithful in small things, willing to help without being told, honest, and ready to listen. God is pleased with children who are loyal and trustworthy, and He will use your life to be a blessing to many people!
