Today’s devotional is titled:
Trust, Not Control

“Acknowledge Him in all your ways, and He will make your paths straight.”
📖 Proverbs 3:6

Guys, often we come to God with a plan that’s already set. We ask God to bless the path we’ve already decided for ourselves. When the results don’t match what we expected, disappointment shows up—and the thought comes: “God should have done it this way…”

But faith isn’t about how smart we are at designing our lives. It’s about how willing we are to trust the direction of our lives to God. Gratitude helps us stop gripping control and start surrendering the steering wheel.

When we give thanks, we acknowledge that God sees farther than we do. We might know what we want, but God knows what we need. And at that point, the demanding attitude begins to break.

Gratitude doesn’t always change the road we’re walking on—but it changes the heart that is walking. From a heart that wants to control, into a heart that is ready to be led.

So on this Sunday, let’s come before God not with a list of demands, but with an open and grateful heart. Because God doesn’t need us to direct Him—we need to be directed by Him.

What To Do:
1. Come to God today with an open heart, without hidden agendas.
2. Give thanks for the things you still don’t understand the answers to.
3. Trust this: God’s way is always right, even when it isn’t always comfortable.
