Today’s Devotional:
True Love Inspires, No Exhausts

Many waters cannot quench love, neither can floods drown it. If a man offered for love all the wealth of his house, he would be utterly despised (Song Of Salomon 8:7)

Have we ever reflected on the difference between a fire that burns everything to ashes and a fire that provides warmth? In human relationships, true love is like a warm campfire that provides light, warmth, and comfort without causing harm. On the other hand, a misguided relationship is like a fire that consumes everything.
A relationship that burns in the right sense is one that is full of enthusiasm, vitality, and positive energy for both parties. Like two candles illuminating each other, their light does not diminish; instead, the room becomes brighter. When we love in the right way, we do not feel drained or tired, but rather strengthened and uplifted.
True love has an endless source because it comes from God Himself. It does not depend on mood, weather, or circumstances. Like the sun that continues to shine without ever tiring, true love continues to provide warmth without ever fading. This is the secret to a lasting and joyful relationship when we learn to love with the strength that comes from above, not from our own limited selves.
Let us examine the relationships in our lives. Do they bring warmth and vitality, or do they drain and exhaust us? If we feel tired, perhaps it is time to return to the Source of true love and learn to love in His way.

What To Do:
1. It is time for us to start making decisions to change the way we love and care for one another.
2. Try to bring to life a love that strengthens, rather than exhausts.
