The Traces of God’s Love
“I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember Your miracles of long ago.” — Psalm 77:12
Sometimes we’re so focused on what hasn’t been achieved that we forget to be thankful for what God has already done. But the psalmist reminds us of something important: “I will remember the deeds of the Lord.”
To remember doesn’t mean getting stuck in the past it means learning to see God’s footprints along the journey.
Maybe this year you’ve faced failure, disappointment, or lost your motivation. But look deeper you’re still standing today because God never left you. He was there in every tear, every laugh, and even in the silence you thought was empty.
Before the year changes, pause for a moment. Turn off your phone, but not your heart. Look back at the past 12 months and find traces of God’s love behind it all. You’ll realize: even though not everything went as planned, God has always been faithful in carrying out His plan for you.
What to Do:
1. Take 10 minutes tonight to reflect and write down three things you’re thankful for this year — no matter how small.
2. Say a simple prayer: “Lord, thank You for every season of this year. I don’t understand everything, but I know You’ve always been with me.”
