The Story of a Delayed Ride
“In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.” – Proverbs 16:9
Imagine you’re all dressed up, ready to go, plans set perfectly—and your ride is late. You feel anxious. Frustrated. Maybe even angry. Then you get the news: the car got into an accident on the way. The delay, it turns out, saved you.
Life often feels like a “delayed ride.” We have plans and expectations, but God—our Master Driver—sometimes holds us back. Not because He forgot, but because He knows the perfect time.
God’s timing is never late. He knows when you need to move, pause, or wait. In His timing, there’s protection and divine purpose.
What to Do:
1. Write down one moment in your life that feels “delayed,” and pray to see God’s hand behind it.
2. Reflect on God’s promises that have not yet been fulfilled, and declare by faith: “God’s timing is never wrong.”
