We must be realistic, alert, and watchful because the agents of the powers of darkness never stop working to prevent believers from discovering the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. The powers of darkness will employ every maneuver so that believers feel satisfied with their religious status, rather than their God-centered status. A spiritual person is not necessarily God-centered, but a God-centered person is undoubtedly someone who practices religion rightly. It appears that the devil seeks to “park” the paradigm of many believers at the point of believing that it is sufficient merely to be religious—performing rituals, ceremonies, or Christian liturgies—so long as one attends church once a week, gives offerings and tithes, and even serves in ministry. All of that is considered to fulfill the will of God. Yet attending church, giving offerings, and serving may only meet the demands of the church—not necessarily the will of God in its fullness.
A person who fulfills the will of God is someone who lives with the attitude expressed in 1 Corinthians 10:31: “Whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” His mouth speaks only words, sentences, and narratives that bring glory to God. He will not say anything that wounds others, regardless of the background or reason. Likewise, his behavior becomes a blessing, an example, a model, and a letter that many people can read.
Even if he slips in speech or unknowingly wanders into wrong behavior, he will feel deep heartache and regret, and strive to correct himself while becoming more cautious. The attitudes of yielding, accepting others, forgiving, and praying the best prayers for those who oppose or hate us must be trained continuously. Training after training through the many events of life will make us sharper and more sensitive in living out the will of God. Do not grow weary of doing good. Do not stop loving. Do not strike back even when you have the opportunity to strike. Do not feel defeated when goodness is repaid with evil. Such attitudes show that we are living out God’s will. God surely takes note of and pays attention to every believer who lives this way.
This is the resolution, commitment, and firm determination we must pursue while we still have a piece of opportunity and a fragment of time in this life. The call to become “perfect as the Father is” and “conformed to the image of the Lord Jesus” should be the resolution and commitment that must not fail in the lives of believers—especially for the GSKI church family wherever they may be. This call is directed to pastors, ministers, church workers, and the entire Lord’s congregation.
The restoration of mankind to its original design is absolute, non-negotiable, and cannot be ignored or violated. That is the pinnacle of resolution, commitment, and determination. That is the peak of holiness and sanctification that God desires for us to reach. For without holiness, no person will see God. Let alone seeing Him, even entering the Father’s Kingdom is not permitted for those whose lives are not holy and pure.
Therefore, we must—and we are obligated to—build and preserve holiness and purity of life. A life that is blameless and without blemish is the foundation for continuing our eternal journey with Elohim Yahweh and the Lord Jesus Christ in the Kingdom of the Father
