The Kind of Prayer God Desires

“What is mankind that You are mindful of them, human beings that You care for them?”
📖 Psalm 8:5

Guys, without realizing it, we can come to God from the wrong position. We pray, but deep inside it’s as if God has to follow our life’s script. If our prayers are answered quickly, we’re happy. But if God is silent, we feel ignored.

The issue isn’t how often we pray, but the attitude of our hearts behind the prayer. Sometimes prayer shifts from surrender into an attempt to control God. We forget that prayer is not a tool to manage God, but a place where we are shaped and directed by Him.

This Psalm reminds us who we really are before God. We are not in a position to demand, but people who have been given the grace to draw near. When this awareness returns, our prayers change—from being full of pressure to being full of trust.

True prayer isn’t marked by how many requests we make, but by a willing heart that receives God’s will, whatever the answer may be.

What To Do:
1. Come to God in prayer today with a humble heart, not a hidden agenda.
2. Admit before God if you’ve been trying more to control than to trust.
3. Learn to enjoy God’s presence, not just His answers.
