Today’s devotional is titled:
The Great Meeting in the Grand Forest
Matthew 19:14
“Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.’”
In the Grand Forest, King Elkan the Lion called for a great meeting. There was a serious problem, wildfires had begun spreading, and they needed to save the northern area that was still green. All the big animals came: the elephant, the tiger, the buffalo, and the eagle. They discussed seriously, giving one suggestion after another.
In the corner sat a young rabbit named Milo. He came quietly, wanting to help. But the buffalo sneered, “This isn’t children’s business. Just sit in the back, Milo.”
But Milo didn’t give up. He looked at the map and noticed something: “The tree roots in the north hold water! We can dig a trench to stop the fire!” Everyone fell silent. The eagle flew to check Milo’s idea from above, and it was true! The elephant and buffalo went to work, and the fire was stopped before it spread further.
King Elkan came to Milo and said, “Age doesn’t determine value. It’s your caring heart and your courage that make you matter.”
Jesus also said, “Let the little children come to Me.” This means, Truth Junior friends, you don’t have to wait until you’re grown up to be part of God’s plan. Your ideas, prayers, love, and small actions today can have a big impact.
God is calling you now, not later. Come to Him, listen to His voice, and be ready to take part in His great work.
