The World Is More Beautiful Because of Love
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” – John 13:34
Imagine this world as a beautiful garden. For the garden to keep growing and not be ruined, we need to take good care of it. But did you know? Caring for the world is not only about protecting nature—it’s also about loving the people around us.
Jesus gave us a new command: to love one another. This isn’t just advice; it’s a direct command from God. When we help a friend in need, stand up for someone who is being looked down on, or greet others kindly, we are spreading love. And love is like sunshine that makes the world warmer and brighter.
Sometimes it’s easier to love people we already like. But Jesus loves everyone—even those who are difficult to love. True love does not choose. If we all lived with the kind of love Jesus showed, the world would be a much better place.
So, if you want to take part in caring for the world, start with one simple thing: love your neighbor. Here are some ways we can show love:
• Offer help to a friend in need.
• Speak words that build up, not words that hurt.
• Show care to someone who is sad or lonely.
• Forgive those who hurt you, and pray for them.
All these are real acts of love, and our Heavenly Father is pleased to see His children living in love.
