Tasks Piling Up, Heart Closing In?
“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” – 1 Peter 5:7
There are seasons when life feels like a race with no finish line. Your calendar is packed, notifications won’t stop, and a mountain of tasks waits to be done one by one. In the middle of all that, your heart can begin to feel tight — not just from physical exhaustion, but from the sense that you’re facing it all alone.
What we tend to postpone during high-pressure days is often the very thing we need most: time with God. We think, “Later, when everything’s done,” but without strength from God, we only grow more drained. God isn’t waiting for you to be “finished” before He meets with you — He wants to be present right in the chaos of your day.
Remember, God cares for you — even amid your workload, school assignments, and project deadlines. You don’t need to sacrifice your spiritual life to chase productivity. On the contrary, when you begin your day in God’s presence, you are building a firm foundation for everything you do.
What to Do:
1. Set aside 10–15 minutes today just for God — at the start of the day, during a break, or before bed.
2. Pray over each of your burdens one by one, and say:
“Lord, I can’t handle all of this on my own. I trust that You care for me.”
