Today’s Devotional Title:
Strong Because of God
Judges 16:28
Then Samson prayed to the Lord, “Sovereign Lord, remember me. Please, God, strengthen me just once more, and let me with one blow get revenge on the Philistines for my two eyes.”
Truth Kids friends! Have you ever felt weak or afraid?
Maybe when you fell off your bike, or when you had to perform in front of the class, and you thought, “I can’t do it!” But guess what? God can give us strength—more than we could ever imagine!
Samson was a man with great strength — he could defeat lions and many enemies! But his strength didn’t come from muscles or food; it came from God. Sadly, Samson once became proud and disobedient, and he lost his strength. But when he realized his mistake and prayed sincerely, God forgave him and restored his strength. Samson was strong again and used by God in an amazing way.
From Samson’s story, we learn that true strength comes from God, not from having a big body. When we make mistakes, we can ask for forgiveness, and God is ready to forgive and strengthen us again.
So come on, Truth Kids friends — let’s be brave, obedient, and strong because of God!
Remember, strength isn’t about how big your body is — it’s about how big your faith in God is.
Pray every day, praise God with a joyful heart, and show His love through your good deeds!
