Today’s devotional is titled:
Steven’s Big Heart
Luke 10:33
“But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him.”
Riko was a boy who liked to tease his friends.
He often made fun of Steven because Steven was small.
Steven just kept quiet and didn’t fight back.
One day, Steven and his friends were walking home from school.
Suddenly, Riko came riding his bike shouting, “Out of the way!!”
Not long after, crash!
Riko fell off his bike and got hurt. “Ouch… help me!” he cried.
But the other kids just walked past. Some even laughed.
Steven almost walked past too.
But then he remembered the story of the Good Samaritan.
So Steven went over and helped Riko.
With his small body, Steven helped Riko stand up. He walked slowly beside him until Riko was okay. From that day on, Riko changed and became a kind boy.
Truth Kids friends, let’s learn to have a generous heart like Steven.
God is pleased when we repay evil with good.
