Today’s reflection is titled:
Steadfast and Faithful

1 Corinthians 15:58
“Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”

Hi, Rehobot Youth! Have you ever started something with great enthusiasm, only to feel bored and want to give up halfway through? Maintaining commitment isn’t always easy. Enthusiasm can wane, circumstances can get tough, and the results we hope for aren’t always immediately visible. Yet, it is precisely in that process that our faithfulness is shaped.

Paul reminded the church in Corinth to stand firm, remain unshaken, and stay diligent in the work of the Lord. This counsel was given after Paul spoke about the hope of the resurrection in Christ. Because Christ’s victory provides a sure hope, every effort made in fellowship with the Lord is never in vain. Believers have a compelling reason to remain faithful, even when the journey feels long and exhausting.

Rehobot Youth, faithfulness is also forged through the responsibilities we carry out every day. Completing tasks well, keeping promises, showing up on time, serving earnestly, and doing what is right even when no one is watching—these are exercises in character. These things may seem simple and don’t always garner appreciation, but God can use these daily processes to mold us into trustworthy individuals.

Therefore, do not be faithful only when you are enthusiastic or when everything goes according to plan. Learn to remain steadfast when the process feels heavy, results are not yet visible, or no one offers recognition. Faithfulness is not about always feeling enthusiastic, but about continuing to do what is right because we know for whom we are doing it. With God, every act of obedience and every effort we make holds value in His sight.

So, Rehobot Youth, do not give up easily on what God has entrusted to you. Build discipline, carry out your responsibilities earnestly, and remain faithful throughout the process. God works not only through great achievements but also by shaping our character through the faithfulness we demonstrate repeatedly in our daily lives.

What To Do?
1. Remain steadfast even when it feels difficult—not just when you are enthusiastic.
2. Be punctual, honor your commitments, and carry out every task responsibly.
3. When you are weary or feel like giving up, remember that laboring in the Lord is never in vain.
