Today’s Devotional:
Start Again, But With Him

“Look, I am making everything new.”
— Revelation 21:5a

The end of the year often makes us reflect what went well, what failed, who left, and what we want to change. We all want a fresh start, but we often forget one important thing: starting without God means repeating the same mistakes. Jesus isn’t just the Lord of your past He’s the Lord of every new beginning.

He’s not waiting for you to be perfect before you start again; He’s just waiting for you to come and say, “Lord, I want to walk with You again.” New Year’s resolutions often sound like “be more productive,” “get healthier,” or “be more successful.” But what matters most isn’t what we chase it’s who we follow. Without Jesus at the center, every plan is just an empty list. But with Him, even the smallest step holds eternal meaning.

So before you write your long list of resolutions, ask this first: “Lord, what do You want me to start again with You?” Because every true beginning starts in His presence.

What to do:
1. Take some time today to reflect on 2025. Write down three things you’re grateful for and one thing you want to surrender to God for renewal.
2. Pray a simple prayer: “Lord, I want to start again but this time, not alone.”
3. Trade resolution for relationship. Focus on building a deeper connection with Jesus, and let everything else flow from there.
