Today’s Devotional is titled:
Sin Enslaves, Christ Sets Free

“So that we might die to sins and live for righteousness.” – 1 Peter 2:24

Sin isn’t just about doing something wrong. It’s like a chain that slowly wraps around our hearts and minds—binding us until we don’t even realize we’re trapped. The lingering guilt, the cycle of bad habits, the constant voice that says, “I’m not worthy”—these quietly enslave us. But Jesus didn’t just come to erase our sins—He came to break the chains.

Imagine someone who’s spent years in prison, and one day they’re given a key and invited to step out. Sadly, many choose to stay inside because they don’t believe the door is really open. That’s how many of us live. But freedom in Christ is real—we just have to believe it and walk through that open door.

What to Do:
1. Take a quiet moment to be honest with yourself: What sin or habit still has a grip on your life?
2. Pray personally and ask for courage to receive the freedom Jesus has already given.
