Show Up, Don’t Just Hustle
“Be still, and know that I am God.” – Psalm 46:10a
Imagine this: you’re juggling school, work, church, social media, and maybe even a side hustle. You’re everywhere, doing everything. But deep down, you feel… disconnected. Like you’re present, but not really there.
Now picture Jesus, sitting quietly, waiting not for your performance, but for your presence.
At the Alpha Youth Conference 2025, Christian speaker Claudia Jessica shared her story. She was busy with ministry, events, and content creation. From the outside, it looked like she was thriving. But inside, she felt distant from God. Until one day, she realized: “God doesn’t need my hustle. He wants my heart.”
Psalm 46:10 says, “Be still, and know that I am God.” That’s not just a poetic verse it’s an invitation. To pause. To breathe. To show up fully. Because sometimes, the best gift we can give God isn’t our effort it’s our attention.
This Christmas, maybe what Jesus wants most isn’t your schedule, your posts, or your achievements. Maybe He just wants you.
✅ What to Do?
1. Turn off your notifications for 15 minutes today. Use that time to sit quietly, read one verse, and talk to God. No filters, no pressure—just presence.
2. Write down one thing that keeps you from being fully present with God. Ask Him to help you let go and show up with your whole heart.
