Sharing Brings Blessings

1 Kings 17:15
“She went away and did as Elijah had told her. So there was food every day for Elijah and for the woman and her family.”

Hello, Truth Junior friends!
Have you ever had just a little food or snack left, and then your friend asked for some? Would you share it, or keep it all for yourself?

Today we learn from a widow in Zarephath. At that time, she only had a little flour and oil left. That food was supposed to be her and her son’s last meal before they prepared to die from hunger. But when the prophet Elijah came and asked for bread, this widow chose to obey and share. Amazingly, God made the flour and oil never run out until the famine was over!

Truth Junior friends, even today we face similar situations. Sometimes we see a friend without lunch, or someone in need of help. But we think: “If I give, maybe I won’t have enough for myself.” That thought comes often, right? But God is pleased when we dare to give, even if it’s just a little.

Remember this: giving with faith will never make us lack. In fact, God can bless us in wonderful ways. We learn not to be selfish, but to enjoy helping and sharing.

So come on, let’s practice this! Whenever we have the chance to share, don’t be afraid of not having enough. God is able to take care of us—just as He cared for the widow in Zarephath and her family.
