Today’s devotional is titled:
Serving Without Picking and Choosing
John 13:14-15
“Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you.”
Truth Kids friends, have your feet ever gotten dirty after playing in the field? Usually, who cleans them, your mom, dad, or you yourself?
There’s a cool story in the Bible! One day, Jesus was together with His disciples. Suddenly, Jesus took water and a towel… then washed their feet one by one. Wow… amazing, right?
Washing feet was actually the job of a servant. Here, Jesus showed that serving is important. That’s why even the Lord Jesus Himself was willing to serve!
We can do the same, starting with small things. For example, helping a friend who falls, assisting a teacher, or sharing with others. We don’t need to wait until we grow up. Jesus has already given us the example, so let’s learn to serve with love—without picking and choosing!
