Today’s reflection is titled:
Serving Faithfully

Colossians 3:23-24
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”

Hi, Rehobot Youth! Many people are willing to serve when the atmosphere is enjoyable, the work aligns with their preferences, or their efforts are appreciated. But what happens when the service is exhausting, goes unnoticed, or receives no praise? That is precisely when our faithfulness is tested. God looks not only at what we do but also at the heart with which we do it.

God’s Word teaches us to do everything wholeheartedly, as if serving the Lord Himself. This means service is not about seeking human recognition, but about loving God. Whether we are leading worship, setting up the room, helping a friend, serving behind the scenes, or performing a simple task—it all becomes valuable when done with a sincere heart for God.

Rehobot Youth, obedience and faithfulness are not built in a day. They are shaped by a willingness to keep serving, whether in comfortable or uncomfortable circumstances. When we remain faithful despite fatigue, keep serving even when unnoticed, and give our best without seeking praise, God is molding our character to become more like Christ. Service does not merely change others; it transforms our own hearts first.

Therefore, Rehobot Youth, do not let a lack of comfort become an excuse to stop serving. Treat every opportunity to serve as an act of love and obedience to God. The children of God who please Him are not those who serve only when it is easy, but those who remain faithful in serving with their whole hearts, no matter the situation. It is through such faithfulness that God shapes our lives and uses us to be a blessing to many.

What To Do?
1. Serve the Lord with love, not to seek praise or recognition.
2. Remain faithful in service, including in the simple things unseen by others.
3. Give your best in every situation, because Christ is the One you serve.
