Today’s devotional is titled:
Seeker of Wisdom
1 Kings 10:1
“When the queen of Sheba heard about the fame of Solomon and his relationship to the name of the Lord, she came to test him with hard questions.”
One day, there was a queen named Queen Kirana who was curious about the wisdom of King Bima, who was well known. She came to the palace with difficult riddles, and King Bima answered them all wisely. Queen Kirana was amazed and realized that the king’s wisdom came from God. She returned home with a peaceful heart.
This story reminds us of the Bible account about the Queen of Sheba, who came to test King Solomon. She had heard about Solomon’s extraordinary wisdom and wanted to see it for herself.
In front of Solomon, the Queen of Sheba presented many riddles, and Solomon answered them all correctly. She was amazed and realized that Solomon’s wisdom and prosperity were far greater than what she had heard before. The Queen of Sheba then praised the God of Israel and went home with a satisfied heart.
Truth Junior friends, let’s learn from the Queen of Sheba’s courage to seek the truth. God wants us to boldly seek His wisdom through prayer, His Word, and a humble heart—so that we too can live with wisdom that glorifies Him.
