Problems Exist, and God Is There Too

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted.”
Psalm 34:18

Guys, sometimes we think that if God is near, life should be easier. But the reality is, it’s often on the hardest days that problems come one after another. And that makes us ask, “God, where are You?”

But often it’s not God who is far away—it’s us who are so focused on the problems that we forget to see Him. Gratitude isn’t about having a safe and easy situation; it’s about being aware that God is still present, even when our hearts are falling apart.

God doesn’t wait for our lives to be neat and put-together before He comes. He shows up exactly when we’re tired, confused, and feeling alone. And in that place, gratitude becomes a form of trust: “I may be falling, but I’m not falling alone.”

So if your life still feels messy today, that doesn’t mean your faith has failed. It could be that God is working in a way that’s slow—but deep.

What To Do:
1. When you’re overwhelmed, pause for a moment and say, “God, I know You are here.”
2. Write down one problem you’re facing, then write one truth about God that you believe.
3. Don’t face everything alone—share it with one person you trust.
