Power from God
Joshua 1:9
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Truth Kids friends, have you ever seen a friend being teased or bullied at school? Maybe you wanted to help, but you were afraid that you’d get teased too. That kind of fear was also felt by one of God’s heroes — Joshua!
God gave Joshua a big mission: to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land. It wasn’t easy, because there were many strong enemies waiting. But God said, “Do not be afraid, for I am with you wherever you go.” Joshua believed that promise, and from there he received power from God to act bravely.
Truth Kids friends, you can also be a little hero like Joshua! When you see someone who is sad, left out, or being bullied, don’t just stay silent. Be brave to help and to speak up for what’s right — because God will give you the strength to do good things.
Remember, you’re not alone! The same God who was with Joshua is also with you. So, let’s be brave and shine God’s love — at school, at home, and wherever you are!
