Potential for the Future
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
— Jeremiah 29:11
Have you ever felt like your life is just ordinary and that you have no future? These days, many people feel insecure when they see others’ achievements on social media. But God reminds us that every life has a plan and a valuable purpose in His hands. Failure and limitations are not the end of your life story.
God has planted potential within every person. Some are leaders, creative, musically gifted, or have a heart to help others. Unfortunately, much of this potential remains untapped because of fear—fear of failure, fear of being looked down upon, or fear of taking the first step. Yet God can use small things to become great blessings.
Look at Joseph and Peter. They failed and went through difficult times, but God still used their lives. The same goes for you. The potential God has planted in you today can become the answer for many people in the future, if you are willing to trust and walk with God.
Rehobot Youth, don’t underestimate your life. Keep growing, stay faithful, and don’t be afraid to take steps forward. Because when God leads your life, even simple potential can be used for extraordinary things.
What to Do?
• Believe that God has a purpose for your life.
• Don’t let fear hold back your potential.
• Start developing your abilities for God’s glory.
