Today’s Devotional is titled:
Obedience in the Midst of Uncertainty
“So Abram went, as the Lord had told him…” – Genesis 12:4a
Abram was called by God to go to a land that hadn’t even been revealed yet. No map. No itinerary. But he obeyed. It wasn’t a comfortable obedience—it was radical obedience.
Many of us want to know all the details before we take the first step: “God, where’s the blessing first?” “God, if I obey, the outcome will be good, right?” But true faith isn’t about seeing—it’s about trusting. And obedience is often tested not at the peak, but at the starting point.
God never promised we’d see the full picture from the beginning. But He did promise to go with us. And that’s more than enough.
What to Do:
1. Reflect on one area of your life where God is asking you to move forward, but you’ve been waiting for clarity.
2. Take the first step today, even if it’s small. Say in your heart: “I obey because You are the One who called me.”
