Nature Is Our Responsibility
“The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.” – Genesis 2:15
Dear Truth Kids, yesterday we learned that God created the heavens, the earth, plants, animals, and humans. God made all of this in a beautiful and loving order. The Lord God also gave humans the responsibility to care for and look after nature.
But now, we can see many sad things happening—like floods, landslides, and damaged forests. Why does this happen? Because many people don’t care and only think about their own profit. They cut down trees recklessly and throw trash wherever they want. This makes nature hurt and damaged.
So, what can we do as children?
Of course, we can! 🥰 We can start with small actions:
🌿 Throw trash in the proper place.
🌿 Help mom and dad clean the house.
🌿 Water plants and avoid damaging them.
🌿 Save water and don’t waste food.
The small things we do now can grow into something big in the future! If we are faithful and obedient in caring for nature, then nature will also protect us from disasters.
Let’s be children of God who love His creation, the earth. 🌎💚 God is pleased when He sees us caring and being responsible.
