Today’s Devotional Title:
Low Battery? Plug Back to the True Source
“Jesus said, ‘I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener… Remain in me, as I also remain in you.'”(John 15:1-4).
Ever panicked because your phone was low on battery and you couldn’t find a charger? It feels stressful, especially when you need to stay connected. The same goes for our lives. Our hearts can feel low-batt when we’re distant from God—easily irritated, hopeless, or unstable.
Jesus reminds us that we’re not the source of energy—we are just the branches. When the branch disconnects from the vine, it withers. But when we stay connected to Jesus, we find strength, joy, and fruitfulness.
A shining relationship with God also needs recharging from the True Source. Don’t just refill your energy with entertainment or quick motivation, but stay plugged into Jesus through prayer, the Word, and community. Low battery is normal, but don’t forget to recharge from the True Source so your life stays powered up.
What To Do:
Plug in with prayer: spend five minutes each morning praying, “Lord, recharge my heart today.”
Recharge with the Word: read one short chapter from the Gospel to refill your faith.
