Living for God’s Glory
“everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made.” — Isaiah 43:7
Everyone wants their life to have meaning. Many young people seek life’s purpose through achievements, popularity, relationships, or recognition from others. However, God’s Word today reminds us that from the very beginning, we were created for a greater purpose: to glorify God.
This means our lives aren’t just about ourselves. Our potential, abilities, opportunities, and even the journey of life we’re on should help others see God’s goodness through us. God doesn’t give us talents so we can look great, but so our lives can radiate His glory.
Glorifying God isn’t limited to serving in church. We can also glorify Him through the way we speak, learn, work, treat others, use social media, and make decisions every day. A life lived rightly reveals who is at the center of our lives.
Rehobot Youth, don’t just pursue a life that’s successful in the world’s eyes. Pursue a life that glorifies God. When our lives are led by God and lived with a right heart, the potential we possess can become a tool to bring about good impact and radiate His glory.
What to Do?
• Reflect: Is the purpose of your life more self-centered or God-centered?
• Use every ability and opportunity to be a blessing to others.
• Ask God to help you live with a right heart and remain holy before Him.
