Today’s devotional is titled:
Keep Believing
Mark 5:34
“He said to her, ‘Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.’”
Every time Jesus came to a town, crowds of people gathered to see Him and listen to His teaching. Many also came to ask for healing. There was once a woman who had been suffering from bleeding for 12 years! Wow, that’s such a long time, right, Truth Kids friends? Imagine—being sick for just one week already feels uncomfortable, but she had suffered for 12 years.
This woman never gave up. She kept holding on, hoping to be healed. When she heard that Jesus was coming to her town, she pushed her way through the crowd to get close to Him. She wanted to touch the edge of His cloak, because she believed that if she touched Him, she would be healed. And yes, Truth Kids friends, as soon as she touched Jesus’ robe, her bleeding stopped immediately!
Is anyone among you feeling sick today? Keep believing that Jesus is able to heal. Let us have faith that Jesus is the Great Physician who can heal all our sicknesses. Amen!
